Bruce Wabbit is an international filmmaker from Wellington New Zealand. After moving through Europe and the United States in pursuit of a career in art history, he found himself behind the camera for the first time on a student project. Leaving his talent for art behind to pursue a new career in film making, he moved to New York where he studied graphic arts at F.I.T and later enrolled in the NYU film and directing program. One of his first jobs in television and broadcasting was as an intern for PBS with Charlie Rose. From there he went on to design movie posters and trailers for an assortment of studio films and productions. His first short animated film Robin's Ride showcased a darker take on the world of Christopher Robin and his friends. The popularity of the film lead him to co-create and direct the animated series (The Macarie Effect ) in 2004 with writer The show had two seasons while Bruce did visual effects work part-time for Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins in 2005 and later for Sam Raimi's Spider-man 3 in 2006. After years of being and industry free agent visual effects artist Bruce developed his first live action feature for release called (The Wronged One ) in 2009. A troubled production would later have the film fail as a feature but be reinvented as an online series. With (The Wronged One ) entering it's sixth year and third season, it has become the pinnacle of his career much like Sam Raimi is to Evil Dead. He is currently a visual effects director working on titles such as The Dark Knight trilogy, Captain America civil war, Run All Night, Man Of Steel and Batman v Superman. In television he's provided worked for titles such as Game Of Thrones, Fringe, breakout kings, Gotham, Smallville and Person of Interest.
